Why there is no consent banner
Consent banners exist to ask permission for cookies that track you. This site sets none, so there is nothing to ask about. A banner here would be theatre.
The one thing stored locally
When you use the theme switch, the site writes a single key to your browser's local storage. The key is ananta:theme and the value is either light or dark. The site reads it on the next page load so it does not flash the wrong theme.
Local storage is not a cookie. It is never sent to a server, has no expiry date, and contains no identifier.
How to clear it
Open your browser's site-data settings for this domain and delete stored data, or clear local storage for all sites. The only effect is that the site returns to its default light theme.
Third-party requests
Fonts are self-hosted, so pages do not contact a font CDN. There are no embedded videos, social widgets, or ad scripts. Following an external link takes you to another site with its own cookie practices.
If this changes
If advertising or analytics are ever added, this page and the privacy policy will be updated before those features go live, and a consent mechanism will be added where required.
